PartyPoker
Most people already know of Party Poker before their first visit. Once the largest online poker room in the world with a reported 5 million users, Party Poker was recently overtaken by Poker Stars after it was forced to exit the huge US market. Even without the Amercian players, there are still upwards of 10,000 cash players and 60,000 tournament players during the busiest times. Due to the number of players from all over the globe a game can generally be found quickly no matter the time of day. In addition, because of its heavy emphasis on advertising, PartyPoker has lots of new players, meaning lots of easy games!

Graphics
The graphics at Party Poker is fast and simple and this is one of the classic no frills poker rooms when it comes to look and feel. What you lose in grpahics you gain in speed (which is much more important in my opinion). One of the nicest addition in a recent update is making all tables re-sizable. Players can play up to 10 tables simultaneously (which without resizing made it an absolute nightmare!)
Playability
Party Poker has developed its software in house and is not part of any poker network. The software is fast, detailed and very reliable and.
Rake
The rake at Party Poker is not the best around and hit the low limit games quite hard. The higher-limit games however are in line with the rest of the market.
The rake runs as high as 10% in 50¢/$1 and $1/$2 games, as 50¢ is raked when the pot reaches $5 or more. This holds very true for the low entry tournaments where you can expect to pay anything up to 20% fee. It does drop to around 8% for $100 games.

Game Variety
Party Poker has very good game variety and offers all variations of Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven-Card Stud, and Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo. The very large player base ensures action at all varieties of poker, making Party Poker a great site for all players.
The games vary between No-Limit, Pot-Limit, and Fixed-Limit. Full-table games, short-handed, and heads-up tables are all available. The games are somewhat concentrated on No-Limit Hold'em, especially in the small and middle limits.

Bonuses / Promotions
Aside from the sign up bonus, Party Poker offers various re-deposit bonuses ranging from 15% and up (you will see them when you log into the client). Most importantly, however, is the Party Points shop which lets players cash in on gifts and real cash. Players use the Party Points system to purchase these products. You can also use the same account for Party Casino, Party Bingo and Party Bets.
