Victor Chandler Unveils Comprehensive Mobile Betting Service
12 Jun 2004
Victor Chandler is to launch its first foray into the world of wireless betting this week. In what is being viewed as a bold move by the Gibraltar based bookie, the new service will be available across all networks, for Java and WAP handsets, and will allow punters to place all types of bet, including multiple and each way lays. While other bookmakers are currently dabbling with mobile betting systems, Victor Chandler is the first to offer such a comprehensive system. Product development manager Joe Coughlin told NewMediaZero that the company will initially target its existing Internet customers who ‘are more likely to have Java phones and be comfortable with the technology,’ but in the coming months will use it to acquire new customers. He added that he had hoped to launch the product earlier so that it could be marketed for Euro 2004. source:- http://www.onlinecasinonews.com
