Single Dad Sends Daughter to College with Online Jackpot Win
8 Jul 2004

Online casino player and single father known by the screen name “JeromeD” has won enough in a single online jackpot to send his daughter to college. JeromeD managed to wrestle a princely $270,453 from the one armed bandit “Rags to Riches” at popular online casino InterCasino.com.

“The jackpot kept going up and up and up, and the weirdest thing is…I had a feeling that I would win on that particular game. Like I said to Ryan Hartley when he called to congratulate me, ‘I felt like aliens came and picked me up, or that I was having some kind of dream.’ It just didn’t seem real,” tells JeromeD.

JeromeD decided to start playing at InterCasino about three years ago, and is a self-proclaimed InterCasino loyalist. He was initially drawn to InterCasino.com because of the positive reviews he had read about the site, including their being awarded ‘Best Casino of the Year’ three years running. But as Jerome puts it, his MEGA-Jackpot is going to ensure that he stays loyal to InterCasino.com.

Besides spending a portion of his fortune sending his 10th grade daughter to college in two years time, JeromeD plans to invest the balance of his MEGA-Jackpot win. “I love when people win big, but it makes it even better when the money is put to good use,” commented InterCasino.com manager Ryan Hartley upon hearing JeromeD’s plans for his winnings.

What advice does JeromeD give to his fellow slot players? “Perseverance. You really have to follow your dreams, and more than anything else, you have to realize that although it’s sometimes an uphill battle, it can happen. If it happened to me it can happen to anybody!”

While JeromeD’s $270,453 jackpot isn’t a record at InterCasino.com, it’s one for the books at the family picnic. JeromeD explains, “The first person I told about the jackpot was my Mom. I come from a big family, and the only other person ever to win anything substantial was my uncle who won $10,000 on a scratch card about 25 years ago.”

Rags to Riches is one of the most popular and most winning progressive slot machines on the Internet. The minimum progressive jackpot value on Rags to Riches is a whopping $100,000.
