Relentless Justice Department pursue BetOnSports accounting exec

The news comes at the same time as it has emerged that David Carruthers, the former CEO of BetOnSports who is currently standing trial in the US on charges of illegal bookmaking and money laundering, will be allowed to introduce the recent ruling by the WTO in his trial.
Judge Mary Medler of the US District Court, ruled that the WTO’s recent ruling against the US and in favour of Antigua with respect to the US’s protectionist stance against the online gaming industry, could be used as a defence against the charges facing Carruthers.
