PartyGaming releases 800 employees
The move comes hot on the heels of a similar lay off by Random-Logic, an 888 Holdings subsidiary, who let go of more than a hundred workers last month.
A spokesman for Ivy Comptech said: “The company is rightsizing its operations in order to go forward in the best shape in the current business scenario. Over 50 percent of the employees (800 plus) have been told to leave with a financial package."
PartyGaming has already booked costs of close to $250 million since exiting the US market due to the UIGEA.
