Ladbrokes has announced that the fourth edition of its European Online Championship of Poker (LEOCOP) will begin this Sunday with an extra $500,000 in prize money added across 16 events.

Last year’s event took place in October and was a seven-day poker festival with $1.17 million in guaranteed prize money. Players logged on to LadbrokesPoker.com online casino last October for a $750,000 guaranteed main event with a $2,500 buy-in held over two days while winners received exclusive LEOCOP trophies.
However, this year Ladbrokes online casino is promising bigger prizes, including an additional $250,000 for the main event taking place on November 9, spread over 15 days with an estimated two million dollars in prize money. The event will feature a leaderboard for the first time where the top 80 players will share $14,000 and be invited to take part in a special online LEOCOP Masters Event Freeroll tournament on November 22 for the last remaining seat at December’s televised Poker Million VII casino semi final where they could win up to one million dollars.

The LEOCOP starts this Sunday at 19:00 GMT with a $165 buy-in event with $10,000 added and satellites are available starting as low as one dollar for players lacking loads of cash.
