Already AEG is at the centre of a massive storm after the company was found to have begun construction on its proposed super casino, prompting outcry and accusations of favouritism. It is feared the company’s close links with the labour government may have influenced the selection process and the company’s behaviour appears to suggest they have reason to believe they will win the license.
And in a statement that further compounded the situation the head of the Casino Advisory Panel (in charge of selecting which bid wins the license) has said the Dome does indeed have a head start over the other candidates.
