Joan Catanzarite was playing the ever popular slot machine game when the machine locked up and told her to summons a slot-machine attendant. She thought at first that she had won just over a thousand dollars, but was informed by the attendant that it was a little more than this.

Catanzarite is not technically a millionaire however, as she has decided to take the winnings in 26 annual payments, which she says she will use to send her daughters to college.
