House of Representatives approves online gambling ban
Members of the US House of Representatives took a step towards banning online gambling on Tuesday when they voted 317-93 in favour of a bill which would outlaw banks and credit-card companies from honouring debts from gambling sites. The bill must still pass in the US Senate before it can become law.
