Jon R. said that the jackpot couldn’t be more welcome, as times had ben tough of late, but stressed that it hadn’t been as much of a surprise as you might think: “I know it sounds unbelievable but I really felt I was going to win the jackpot, winning it is definitely going to change my life" said Jon. “On the recommendation of my wife, I may buy myself an Aston Martin for Christmas, and then take the entire family out shopping.”

It is the second time in less than six months that the jackpot has paid out over a million pounds, with Richard R. winning $1.06 million in July this year.
