The regional casino license is the second biggest license available, after the one super-casino license that was awarded to Manchester. It will result in the building of a huge casino that will act as the focal point for a £50 million regeneration of the town.

Those behind the bid project that the new casino and subsequent development will attract thousands of extra visitors every year along with creating up to 1500 new jobs across the region.
