Ex-Wife Fighting for Half of Husband’s $30 Million Lottery Win
The exact amount has not been disclosed, although it is known that Nynna Ionson, a former exotic dancer, was trying to get $9,000 a month to support her for the duration of her legal battle over her right to claim half of her ex-husbands lottery win. Lawyers for Ionson and her ex Ray Soberski said simply that an agreement had been reached.
Ionson’s case is based on her claim that she and her husband were still married and romantically involved when Soberski won the jackpot, which he then collected in April 2004.
She claims he hid his lottery win from her by waiting nearly a year to collect it – while he maintains that their marriage was based solely on sex, and that they were separated by the time of the lottery win.
The case will continue in the New Year.
