Betfair Casino Signs New Deal With Playtech
Betfair has been with Chartwell Technology since 2006, so the move to a new provider on September 1st will be a big change for the online casino giant.
Playtech is one of the leading software providers and a major name in the online gaming industry. Betfair will join many other top gambling sites that already have deals with Playtech, such as William Hill Casino, which is just one of the other massive gaming brands currently using Playtech software.
The Playtech casino platform provides a huge selection of exciting casino entertainment and is highly thought of by online casino players in the UK. Chartwell’s current deal with Betfair will come to an end on August 31st. The Canada-based online gaming software provider has new deals in the pipe line with various other gaming companies including Casinos Austria as well as sports betting ventures to make up for any lost profits which may follow from the withdrawal of Betfair.
Managing director of Betfair Games, Steve Ives, said: “Chartwell has been a very good business partner to Betfair. This was a difficult decision for us as we hold Chartwell, its products and its people in very high regard”.

Betfair has not only changed the software provider of its casino brand – Betfair Poker has also recently signed a new deal with Ongame software.
