According to the report the only reason we have not already seen an explosion in mobile gambling is because of the relatively small number of mobile phones and operators that support the service.

But these obstacles are set to be overcome in the near future along with remaining regulatory problems.

Jean-Pierre Aubertin, author of the report said: “Initial trials of mobile gambling sites have confirmed the channels as viable sources of income for gambling site operators such as William Hill.”
