Craps - Rules

On the first round, the Come Out round, if the player rolling the dice, the shooter, rolls 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12 the round is over and the shooter rolls another Come Out round.

If the dice adds up to any other number, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 then that number becomes Point.

If a Point is rolled the shooter rolls the dice again until the same Point number is rolled or a 7, this is called the Point roll or rolls.

Craps Betting

Pass Line (or Win Line)

Wins if the Come-Out roll is a 7 or 11.
Lost if Come-Out roll is 2, 3 or 12.
Wins if a Point is established and that point is rolled again.
Lost if a Point is established and a 7 is rolled.
Payoff 1 to 1.

Don’t Pass

Lost if Come-Out roll is 7 or 11.
Wins if Come-Out roll is 2 or 3.
Push if a 12 is rolled.
Lost if a Point is established and that point is rolled again.
Wins if a 7 is rolled before the Point.
Payoff 1 to 1.

Come Bet

Available once the Point has been established.
Once Come Point is established, original bet may not be removed or altered. Wins if shooter rolls a 7 or 11. Loses if shooter rolls a 2, 3 or 12. Come Point is established if the shooter rolls a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 on a Come Out roll. The dealer moves the bet from the Come area to the corresponding box for that particular number. Once the Come Point has been established, the player wins if the Come Point is rolled prior to rolling a 7. Player loses if a 7 is rolled prior to rolling the Come Point. Bet remains on the table following a win however the player may remove it from the table at any time. Bet is removed from the table following a loss
Payoff 1 to 1.

Don’t Come Bets

Available once the Point has been established. Rules are similar to Don't Pass Bets. Wins if shooter rolls a 2 or 3. Loses if shooter rolls a 7, 11. Ties if shooter rolls a 12. Come Point is established if shooter rolls a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10. The dealer moves the bet from the Don't Come area to the corresponding box for that particular number. . Once the Come Point has been established, the player wins if a 7 is rolled prior to rolling the Come Point. Loses if the Come Point is rolled prior to rolling a 7.
Payoff 1 to 1.

Place Bet to Win

You may place the bet at any time however it becomes active once the Point has been established. Player bets on a number 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10. This becomes the Place Number. Wins if shooter rolls the Place Number prior to rolling a 7. Payoff depends on the Place Number selected. Loses if shooter rolls a 7 prior to rolling the Place Number.

Numbers 5 or 9 – 7 to 5
Numbers 6 or 8 – 7 to 6

Place Bet to Lose

You may place the bet at any time however it becomes active once the Point has been established. Player bets on a number(s) 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10. This becomes the Place Number. Wins if shooter rolls a 7 prior to rolling the Place Number. Payoff depends on the Place Number selected. Loses if shooter rolls the Place Number prior to rolling a 7.

Numbers 5 or 9 – 5 to 8
Numbers 6 or 8 – 4 to 5

Single Roll Bets

Player bets on the single numbers 2, 3, 11 or 12
Payoff
Numbers 2 or 12 – 30 to 1
Numbers 3 or 11 – 15 to 1

Hardway Bets

Player bets on the single numbers 4, 6, 8 and 10. However they have to be made up of rolls that add up the ‘hard way’ for example pairs, so 4, 4 is Hardway 8.
Payoff
Numbers hard 4 or 10 – 7 to 1.
Numbers hard 6 or 8 – 9 to 1.

Field

Player bets that any one of a group of numbers 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12 will be rolled on the next roll.
Payoff
Numbers 3, 4, 9, 10 or 11 – 1 to 1.
Numbers 2 or 12 – 2 to 1.

Any Craps

Wins if shooter rolls 2, 3 or 12.
Payoff
7 to 1

Any 7

Wins if the shooter rolls a 7.
Payoff
4 to 1

Eleven or Craps (E-C)

Wins if the shooter rolls a 2, 3, 11 or 12.
Payoff
Numbers 2, 3 or 12 – 7 to 2
Number 11 – 15 to 2

Big 6

Wins when 6 rolled before 7.
Payoff
7 to 6

Big 8

Wins when 8 rolled before 7.
Payoff
7 to 6

Supplementary Bets

After Don't Pass Bet

If a player makes a Don't Pass Bet and a total of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is thrown on the Come Out roll, the player has the right to make a supplementary wager in support of the Don't Pass Bet in an amount not more then double the amount of the original Don't Pass Bet. Wins if Don't Pass Bet wins.

Numbers 4 or 10 – 1 to 2
Numbers 5 or 9 – 2 to 3
Numbers 6 or 8 – 5 to 6


After Pass Line Bet

If a player makes a Pass Line Bet and a total of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is thrown on the Come Out roll, the player has the right to make a supplementary wager in support of the Pass Line Bet in an amount not more then double the amount of the original Pass Line Bet. Wins if the Pass Line Bet wins.

Numbers 4 or 10 – 2 to 1
Numbers 5 or 9 – 3 to 2
Numbers 6 or 8 – 6 to 5


After Come Bet

If a player makes a Come Bet and a total of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is thrown on the roll immediately following the placing of such a bet, the player has the right to make a supplementary wager in support of the Come Bet in an amount not more then double the amount of the original Come Bet. Wins if the Come Bet wins.

Numbers 5 or 9 – 3 to 2
Numbers 6 or 8 – 6 to 5
