Caribbean Stud Poker - Rules
Observing the table limit a player places an ‘Ante’ bet on the ‘ANTE’ space of there playing area. To also play for the Progressive Jackpot, or Bonus Jackpot, they place $1 into the slot prior to the hand being dealt.
The size of the current jackpot and the additional winnings available for certain hands is displayed on the table.
The player then receives five cards face down and the dealer receives one face up and four face down.
Using the cards in the players hand and the dealers face up card the player makes a judgement on whether to bet or not.
If the player decides to bet then they place an amount equal to double the ante on the ‘Bet’ space.
The dealer now shows all their cards.
If the dealer has a hand that is less than Ace/King high then the dealer has failed to qualify and the player will receive a payoff of 1 to 1 on the ante and the ‘Bet’ will be returned.
If the dealer does qualify then the dealers hand is compared to the players using standard 5 card poker ranking.
If the players hand wins then the payoff is 1 to 1 on the ante plus the following:
