GalaCasino.com went live with a new-look website today, its second revamp since relaunching on Playtech software platforms in May of last year.
The new site also offers improved navigation and a slicker interface, making it easier than ever for players to find their favourite games.
The operator inked for Playtech to supply all online products for its Coral betting and Gala gaming brands back in July 2011, with Playtech buying Coral’s sportsbook platform supplier Geneity in January of last year, Gala Casino moving to Playtech platforms in May, followed by Gala Bingo in July, and poker in October 2012.
The operator’s recent third-quarter results showed that underlying growth continued to accelerate on the back of the move, showing early signs of the turnaround Playtech achieved with William Hill’s digital business from 2009 when the companies began their recently ended JV.
The firm owned by US hedge funds Apollo Management, Cerberus Capital Management, Park Square Capital and York Capital Management is now widely reported to be considering a listing.
According to the most recent report in the Daily Express at the weekend, the group could sell its chain of Gala Bingo clubs in the UK for more than £250m ahead of an IPO which could value the company at around £2bn. The company’s debt stood at more than £1.19bn in July.
Gala Interactive, Coral Interactive, Coral betting shops and Italian retail betting and igaming business Eurobet would likely be among the assets included in a flotation on the London market.
Casino Choice is offering a deposit match bonus of up to £1,000 and an exclusive £1,500 prize draw to all new Gala Coral players. More details can be found here.
