Paddy Power has inked a two-year extension to its betting partnership with last season’s Premier League runners up Manchester City.
The new deal will see the Irish bookie remain City’s official betting partner for the UK, Ireland and Italy until the end of the 2014/15 season.
Paddy Power will continue to offer tailored betting offers and exclusive bets around key fixtures to Man City fans, with access to first-team players for marketing purposes and hospitality at the Etihad Stadium included in the deal.
Paddy Power’ s eponymously named marketing spokesman described working with the club over the last two seasons as “brilliant” and said the bookmaker was “excited” about continuing to provide the club’s supporters with “unbeatable value” via its special betting offers.
Paddy’s regulated markets-specific deal with City for the UK, Ireland and Italy with City will run alongside 188Bet’s international partnership, which allows the latter to use City’s crest and player imagery throughout the largely unregulated Asian region.
The Irish bookie is also official betting partner to Merseyside rivals Everton and Liverpool.
Manchester City’s chief commercial and operating officer Tom Glick said the club was “pleased to continue to be working with Paddy Power.”
