Ladbrokes will soon feature the online and mobile games of award-winning Swedish developer Net Entertainment, after the two companies signed a new partnership agreement.
Ladbrokes eGaming’s head of product Richard Poole said the deal reflected the company’s publicly stated pledge “to work with best-of-breed suppliers.”
The deal will allow Ladbrokes.com players to play the Stockholm-headquartered developer’s award-winning desktop and mobile games, which include innovative classics such as Gonzo’s Quest (pictured) and leading branded titles such as Scarface.
Björn Krantz, chief of GMO and MD Net Entertainment Malta, said the deal “will further strengthen our position in the UK”, where it has ramped up its exposure over the past year. “We are confident that our content will be well received by Ladbrokes’ player base”, he added.
Net Ent has signed licensing deals with a host of UK operators in the last 12 months, including Paddy Power, BGO and 888 in the past year, the latter going live with the first content this week.
The developer also inked a licensing deal with real-money Facebook slots operator Bonza Gaming, the JV between Plumbee and Unibet.
Net Ent’s Mega Fortune progressive slot also holds the world record for the largest single pay-out, a middle-aged man from Helsinki landing €17.8m at Paf.com in January.
The Net Ent games at Ladbrokes will be offered under the bookie’s own casino and games tabs, as opposed to the Playtech-provided Vegas-branded casino that went live this week.
