32Red ranked first for customer service

32Red has reinforced its impeccable customer service credentials by ranking first among its peers in an independent audit conducted by etruvian consulting.

The Gibraltar-licensed operator achieved an overall score of 8.8 out of 10 in the inaugural Customer Support Quality Audit, ranking in the top four in all of the seven categories, which included assessment on accessibility, response time, product knowledge, presentation, personalisation, friendliness, and extra mile.

The Microgaming-powered UK online casino also claimed top spot two of the categories assessed by a comprehensive “mystery shopper” approach: product knowledge, which evaluated the level of product knowledge of the customer support representative, and going that extra mile, applied when a representative was seen to go beyond their normal remit to provide an excellent service to players.

32Red CEO Ed Ware said the award provided further recognition of his staff’s hard work and dedication in delivering “a ‘second to none’ player experience”. Ware added that the company would continue to invest in this area of the business to maintain its position as market leader.

The casino specialist beat off stiff competition from 15 other brands to claim top spot, edging out InterCasino, which led the next grouping of online casino operators whose customer service was rated “very good” overall by etruvian. These included Betsson, Bet365, PartyCasino owner bwin.party, Casino 770 and Scandinavian casino Mr Green.

Ladbrokes, Betfred, Betway, Paddy Power and Club World’s customer service was assessed as “good” by the consultancy, with 888, William Hill, 3Dice and Betfair faring less well, the latter scoring just 5.1 out of 10 overall, hit hard by a low score in the response time category.

Leader of the audit project for Gibraltar-based etruvian, David Coleman, said 32Red had demonstrated yet again why they had won multiple awards over the past decade.

32Red has been awarded Casino Operator of the Year by online casino advocacy site Casinomeister for ten years running. It also scooped eGaming Review’s coveted Casino Operator of the Year in 2011, beating off strong competition from Bet365.
