bgo.com, the new entertainment and gaming destination by the company behind leading UK brands Costa Bingo and XBingo, has launched.
XBingo players have been moved across to the new platform, following its parent company’s recent corporate rebranding as bgo entertainment from Mandalay Media Group.
bgo bingo went live at bgo.com last Thursday, along with a wide choice of Vegas-style slots and casino table games including blackjack, roulette and craps. Isle of Man-licensed bgo entertainment will add a live dealer casino, sports betting and lotto in the coming months, as it continues its transition to a fully fledged gaming and betting operator.
The company’s four other leading UK bingo brands – Costa Bingo, Sing Bingo, Fancy Bingo and City Bingo – will continue to operate on third-party software owned by 888.
bgo entertainment’s predecessor, Mandalay Media, made its first foray into the operator space in June 2009, when it launched “free to play” bingo room Costa Bingo, the success of which paved the way for the launch of three further brands on 888’s Dragonfish bingo network – Sing Bingo in 2010 and City Bingo and Fancy Bingo in 2011.
Last year also saw its Norwich-based software development team launch its own proprietary bingo platform, XBingo, with the hugely popular bingo brand of the same name going live on the software later that year.
bgo entertainment was formed earlier this year to consolidate the online business interests of founders Richard Skelhorn and Alex Holt under one company and brand, as the business looks beyond the UK towards international markets.
