Bet365, Paddy Power and William Hill’s main online gaming supplier Playtech is to open a brand new office in London, after the software developer agreed to lease 13,850 square feet of office space near Hammersmith.
The supplier’s 10-year lease on two floors of 80 Hammersmith Road in West London will be its second office in the capital.
Playtech’s GTS subsidiary already leases 10,000 square feet of office space and attached apartments in Camden from founder and 49.66% shareholder Teddy Sagi for £750,000 a year, one of a series of deals completed with companies in which Sagi was “beneficially interested” ahead of its move to the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange in July.
The software business, founded in 1999, first listed in London on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in March 2006, going on to grow revenues by 215% between 2007 and 2011, and pre-tax profits by 193%.
Playtech also has offices in Estonia, Bulgaria, Ipswich (UK), Israel, Philippines, Ukraine and Cyprus, the majority of these being software development centres.
