Microgaming Progressive Jackpot player wins €120k

A player on Microgaming’s Progressive Jackpot Network has won nearly €120,000, the first via a mobile device.

The lump sum was won on the Mega Moolah slot game via the mobile site of Scandinavian online casino Mr Green, which only signed its first contract with the Isle of Man-based online casino, poker and bingo software supplier back in March of this year.

Microgaming spokesman Ashley Sandyford-Sykes revealed it was not only the first Progressive Jackpot win on the Mega Moolah slot on the provider’s QuickFire Flash-based casino gaming platform, it was also the first on a mobile device. “This win can only increase the popularity of the games offering,” he said.

Mr Green’s information director Stina Reutercrona said the company was delighted that it was one of their players who had won the payout, “especially since he was playing on our new mobile site.”

Microgaming said its Progressive Jackpot Network had paid out more than €320m to date to casino players on its portfolio of client websites, that includes the majority of leading UK-facing online casinos, such as 32Red and Ladbrokes.

last week launched new video slot The Dark Knight to coincide with the release of the final film in director Christopher Nolan’s Batman triology later this summer.

32Red’s Microgaming-powered casino has been consistently voted the UK’s best by respected sources such as Casinomeister and eGaming Review. To find out more, visit 32Red.com.
