Last year the world watched Pius Heinz outplay everyone to walk away with a cool US$8.7m and PartyPoker is once again offering the chance to play for the biggest prize in world poker for free. Yes, that’s right. For free.
2012 World Series Main Event satellites are now underway at PartyPoker, offering daily qualifiers until 17 June for the chance to enter one of the weekly satellite tournaments, each offering $14,000 prize packages to play for the chance to be crowned champion of the world.
Packages consist of the US$10,000 Main Event buy-in, hotel accommodation in Las Vegas for ten nights and US$2,000 spending money. Flights are not included.
Obviously not everyone can afford to enter a US$750 satellite, so PartyPoker is running sub-satellites, starting with daily freerolls, where the top 25 players will gain entry into the daily $2 WSOP Sub Qualifier Speed Rebuy. From here, entry to the twice-daily US$75+US$5 WSOP Satellite Qualifier is awarded for every $80 in the prize pool. In the $75+$5 satellite, one in 10 players will win a seat to Sunday’s $700+$50 WSOP Satellite.
Somebody’s got to be world champion – so why not you?
