Pokerstars has just launched a mobile app which will allow poker players in the UK to play free and real money poker tournament and cash games on a range of mobile devices.
After the success of Pokerstars Mobile in Italy, the company has released its app to the UK market this week. Pokerstars Mobile can be downloaded onto nearly all mobile devices, including iPhone, iPad, iPad Touch, Android phones and Tablet computers.
Pokerstars’ director of new platforms, Jeffrey Haas, said: “PokerStars Mobile is more than just the migration of the existing PokerStars game product to the mobile platform. It’s an intentional product designed specifically for the form factors of mobile and tablet devices, and the different ways people play games on them”.
The app uses a range of innovative features, with Haas confirming: “This is the best authentic poker experience available for mobile devices today.”
Players can now play Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo and Stud Poker from their mobiles, with all games available at the regular poker site also available to play at Pokerstars Mobile.
Whether players want to enjoy a sit-and-go tourney, cash games or multi-table tournaments they can do so at the click of a button from wherever they are. Other features available include hand history, chat, lobby features and player search.
