Microgaming has recently announced its new long term licensing agreement that will give the leading software provider the go ahead to produce a number of video slots based on DC Comic superhero, Batman.
Microgaming’s new video slots will take scenes, characters and themes from the film The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, both based on Batman, to create the exciting new titles for internet gaming sites that using its software across the world.
The first of Microgaming’s new slots is set to be released in the summer this year, with the second title due to launch at online gaming sites in 2013.
Batman is a globally recognized superhero, with the character featuring in 15 monthly comic books from DC Comics distributed across 60 different countries. The new games from Microgaming are sure to capture the adventurous spirit of these comics and bring the fun of the superhero genre to many new audiences across the online gaming sector.
The Dark Knight film was a box office success when it was released in 2008, while The Dark Knight Rises will be out on July 20th 2012 starring Christian Bale as the crime fighting superhero.
